250 Head of Cattle!
The Riegert’s had a Herd Reduction Auction last month and have enjoyed seeing the cattle have so much room in the Freestall Barn. Due to a Bad Medical Report, Al & Dawn must now Sell their Entire Herd.
Selling are 110 head of Parlor Milked Cows, mostly in 1st & 2nd lactations. Cows include Holsteins, Jersey-cross
Linebacks
a Red Lineback, a Milking Shorthorn & a few Red & Whites. A Nice Mix of Fresh Cows, Dry Springers and Bred Cows that are Producing Well. The Cows are averaging 67# in the Bulk Tank with 4.3% fat, 3.3% protein and SCC below 150. They will all be pregnancy checked by Valley Vet Clinic of Seymour.
Also selling are 6 Close-up Springing Heifers, 30 Bred Heifers from Shortbreds to Springers
20 Open Heifers from 6 months to Yearlings, 50 Heifers from 3 to 6 months old, 18 Heifers from 2 to 3 months old
and 15 Calves from new to Started Heifers.
