135 Registered Ayrshires & Milking Shorthorns

Maple-Ayr Farm Registered Ayrshires & Registered Milking Shorthorns.This is a Family Farm that has been Breeding & Showing Ayrshire & Milking Shorthorn cattle for Decades. The herd has been on Official DHIR test for 46 Years. No TMR & No BST are used. The cattle are rotated on pasture lots and are fed homegrown stored feeds. They have never been Pushed for Production. The Family have all grown up Showing at local, regional, state & national shows. This Herd has produced over 50 Excellent classified cows & several All-Americans!

  

Selling are 69 Ayrshires & 56 Milking Shorthorns including Milk Cows, Springing Heifers, Shortbred Heifers, Open Heifers from Young Calves up to Breeding Size. This Dispersal includes 16 Excellent Cows selling with their Families. Many of the Cows are Just Fresh in the last 30 days and a Nice Group are due to Freshen in the next 30 days. Also selling are 7 or 8 Guernsey Cows & Heifers from Purebred Breeding.

 

The Bulk Tank Avg. is 61# per cow right now and Milk Quality remains Very High with SCC Avgs. from 85 to 170. The herd tests 4.2% fat & 3.4% protein. Most of the milking herd are pregnant with Top Sires represented. All of the cattle will be pregnancy checked before the sale. Lots of Nice Cattle to Choose From!
